Scroll saws

As is the standard practice with tool manufacturers, they will make tools for sale under whatever label you are willing to pay for on the tool. Dremel in Wisconsin and part of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation now made scroll saws, rotary tools and other items for sale under the Sears/Craftsman name. You might check to see if they have parts for sale under the Dremel name that will work on your saw. I don't remember the model number but there was a scroll saw made and sold under the Sears/Craftsman name that used a shorter than 5", pinned blade. It made a lot of noise and not much sawdust. If you have one of these, you might look at a new model saw. Ryobi has one that they sell for $99 that will probably sell for less under the Sears name soon. It's not as good as the $200 saws on the market but an improvement over the early model scroll saws.
