Annette, Bondo-Marhide makes a variety of products for automobile body work that can be used to repair your tub. I said it that way because things like the size of the crack and your access to the bottom of the tub will direct how the repair should be done and how permanent it can be. If you can get to the bottom of the cracked tub, you will want to sand to rough up the surface and apply glass cloth or mat with Bondo epoxy. This can go a long way to making a fairly permanent repair. To complete this repair or for a les permanent patch, use the Bondo filler. These products are all available in the automotive parts stores or sections of Big Box stores.

For a really permanent solution to the problems with your tub, you need to contact a plumber or tub installation people that can build a wood foundation and then a concrete support base directly under the new tub.
