i am moving into my grandmas basement. it is not finished either. man o man does it stink like hot mildew. i am gonna get an air conditioner and a dehumidifier after i wash all of the mildew and mud and paint. i was thinking about using some bleach water to get rid of some of the smell and mold as well. i am glad of the suggestions on this page. thanks a lot!
