I'm not sure about Sally and Larrys question, but as for the rest of you, Ashpalt sealer can be bought and painted on yourself for less than $50. It should be done once every year or two, depending on the climate, Northern California could easily get away with every 2 or even 3 years. The sealant just goes on with a long-handled paint roller. Check it out at the hardware store.
