I will be installing a bathroom fan in my old bathroom. I will need to vent the fan through the ceiling, to the attic, and out the back of the house (under the eave). To do this, I will need to cut two square holes -- one in my bathroom ceiling (made of plaster) and one in the outside wall of my house. What will be the best tool(s) to use for this cutting to minimize damage to the plaster ceiling and get clean cuts in both the ceiling and outside wall?
I'm assuming I will need to purchase this tool -- should I consider hiring this out instead (i.e. will the purchase price be cost prohibitive...will I ever use this tool again?)
