I recently moved into a 36 yr. old house where the gas dryer vents into a crawl space and circulates in the basement. I would like to have the dryer exhaust vented outside of my home. The problem, I've been told, is that the basement is too low and there is no place to drill a hole for proper venting. If i move the dryer to another area in the basement - i will lose my gas connection. Do you have any advise for me - i'm desperate!
