I have an older home. The fan is hooked up to a pull chain (and is working. however the light is not. In the wall plate I have 2 black wires together, 2 white wires together and 1 red wire.
I am trying to put in a dimmer switch which has 1 black wire on the bottem and on the top 1 black and 1 green.
Can you tell me which wires I need to connect to make this work?
