The back of my property is bordered by a road, and I'd like to plant some shrubs & trees to eliminite as much disturbance from noise and light as possible. A burm(sp?) already exists, and I want to keep consistant with the neighbors, especially in terms of elevation. I would like: 1) to make this a densely planted area 2) a year round break (I live in zone 5) 3) probably salt tolerant 4) very little maintenance. I would like to spread this out over the next few years, maybe with some trees the first spring, then a few more in the fall, then some shrubs the next spring, etc... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
