adding foundation

We have an addition on our home that only has partial foundation where the studs are. There is a room on this foundation that is finished, plus the house is sided. Is there a way to add a foundation with minimal damage to outside of house? We want to sell the house and the rest is built on a slab - we thought the entire house was on a slab, but have now found out differently. Any suggestions? We are located in New Jersey.
