Would be to use tomato juice, but of course this may stain your carpet. (Maybe not, if it is all synthetic)
If you can contact your local Vet, they should have a bottle of "Skunk Off" (yes, that's the name) It costs about $9 a bottle, and can be used on you, your pet, your car and your home.
