Last night I developed a leak with my toilet. It seems that one of the tie down bolts had rusted through and broken off. I know get a new bolt and it is business as usual. But since one broke I decided to change both. First I removed what seemed to be some kind of waterproofing. This just broke off. Then I tried to remove the bolt and to my surprise the head of the bolt had started to decay. So I decided to remove the nut, just to find out that the nut used was a round type. Also the length of the bolt is extremly long and I can't grip the nut with a pair of pliers. So how do I remove this bolt or should I wait until this one rust through?
