I have a cure. Today a paper with permanant marker got wet and seeped into my wooden desk and left a big stain. My dad got it out by first putting GOOF OFF which let the marker stain loose, then rubbed it consistently with White Ring Stain Remover. You have to rub it for a long time wiht a lot of pressure to get it off, but it works.
