I'm new to your forum though I lurk on and off. I hope someone here can assit me.
I am working on a fixer-upper balloon framed home. After removing an unsightly cobbled up balcony at the 2nd floor I found the corner stud has termite damage. What is the recommend procedure to replace/repair only the damaged section of the corner frame ?
I have some salvaged lumber of the correct size. However, nothing long enough to replace the whole length from foundation to roof sill.
