Custom shower stall

Posted by Kevin on August 5th, 2003 09:21 AM

I'm building a new house and want a larger shower stall (4 ft x 4 ft). My plan is to put it in a corner of the bathroom with an angled door, so it won't be a true 4'x4' stall. Since I can't find a "standard" surround for this, I've decided to just frame it up and then ceramic the whole interior (UNLESS SOMEONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET A SURROUND THIS SIZE?????) My main question is should I frame this all the way to the ceiling, or should I stop just short (maybe a foot)? I've seen both and since the entire inside will be tiled, I'm thinking that taking it to the top may be nice.?. Any comments/suggestions/testimonials???? Thanks!
