Has anyone responded to your request for help re: mothball odor in your furniture?? I am having the same exact problem. I love the furniture that I inherited but I can't bring myself to put any clothes in it because of the mothball smell. As I write, I am now letting some Borax sit in it for a few days to see if it helps - will let you know.
