I've been hearing that if you use arsenic free wood for decking, the hanger manufacturers (e.g. Simpson Tie Company) will not warranty their product for long life. Is this true??? If so, my husband and have a big problem in that we want to build a deck and all the wood at our local building centers are arsenic free...!!!... Please help.
