Andrew ...... I am on Long Island about your situation about the receptacles that you want to replace. There is even a better way and less effort involved, all you have to do is find the very first receptacle in the circuit and see if the other are looped or daisy chained off the first one. If so you can replace the first receptacle with whats know as a GFCI, this will give you the grounding protection required for a three prong receptacle circuit.
