Parquet Floor "bubble"

Recently, we had a carpet cleaner work on some stains on carpets in our home. Given that the stains were so stubborn, the carpet cleaner must have used a great deal of water. One carpet is actually a hall "runner" that sits on a parquet floor. The part of the floor under the rug has detached from the sub-floor and has formed a kind of dome. In another area with wall-to-wall carpeting, the plywood (I'm guessing) has "domed" as well. Is there anything we can do about these situations? Thanks so much.
