Does anyone have a remedy for easily removing foam type green carpet pads which have adhered to hard wood flooring. My daughter and son-in-law recently purchased a home built in the '60s and the hard wood flooring has been covered by carpeting with green pad all these years. The pad has become adhered to the floors and is extremely difficult to remove.
