I recently went and asked the construction & woodworking teacher at our local high school if his senior students can build me a 10' x 12' playhouse that can easily be converted to a shed when my children outgrow it. His students took it on as a project. They showed me the plan for approval prior to building it. The playhouse/shed turned out better than I had expected. I only paid for materials and simply have to stain it to match our house now.
