I have just moved in a house that is 40 years old and there is beautiful hardwood flooring underneath the carpet. In one room there is vinyl flooring over the hardwood. I am wondering how much of a danger is it to remove the vinyl myself not knowing if there is asbestos there? How can i find out if there is and what is the easiest way to pull the flooring up without damaging my beautiful flooring underneath?
