my basement wall with cracks

hello there i guess the first thing would be is to tell you my problem. i have a crack in my basement wall 13 feet long but there is only a spot about 4inches long that leaks, this is not a crack that really open it is just long almost like paper thin or a little bite bigger. But my thing is that i want to fis this before it gets any bigger. I'm kinda new at doing thisbut i want to learn . One last thing is this something that is going to cost a alot or not to bad.
