Thanks to everyone for posting the Maytag washing
machine problems. We purchased the washer
in November 2000 and so far our machine has run without any of the mechanical or electronic failures mentioned however the black mold on the inner seal looks and smells horrible. Molds are unhealthy in a
household! Running loads with bleach and wiping
the inner ring with bleach have not solved the problem.
It's ironic to see such filthy black mold inside where everything should be clean! They should recall these
machines.
