A ceramic tile floor would not likely discolor except from surface coatings or sealants. You can use an alkaline floor stripper from a janitorial supply to try to remove any surface coatings that may have discolored the tile. This stuff is very high pH and corrosive so you will need gloves, safety glasses and you should pick up the black scrubbing pads they sell too or use a floor scrubber. In any event this will strip and clean the floor without scratching.
