Pump Tank Condensation

Posted by skip on August 14th, 2003 12:00 PM

I have a fiberglass water tank as part of my drilled well water system. The humidity in the air causes condensation on the tank to drip on the floor even though I have wrapped it with foam insulation on the accessable surfaces.

I would like to sit the tank in a 'drip tray' to catch the water that drips off. The size would have to be minimum 18" x 24" rectangular or 24" diameter circular. I envision a plastic molded tray with a lip perhaps 1" high. Any ideas on what I could use for this application?
