I have a 30 by 38 cement patio that I would like to cover with some kind of wooden open feeling top. This is on a new home that will need roof gutters since I live in southern Idaho. I am thinking about something that allows filtered sunlightin the summer yet I do need a more solid area at the backdoor. The patio is on the East side of the home so it will get the morning sun and will be in the shade of the house all afternoon. I already have a deck that is connected to the house and has the same roof as the house on the south side. Any suggestions?
