Angelo, two thoughts which "might" help. 1) Try spraying the wood with Fabreeze (sp?) and letting it air for a day. 2) Buy some shelf lining paper and line the drawers, be sure to line the bottoms on drawers that sit above others. One last thought that just came to mind, you might line the drawers with dryer sheets (i.e., Bounce).
