toilet flange is raised

Hi, before our new tile was installed, we had a marble platform under the toilet, which raised the toilet. Our tile contractor took out the toilet, platform, and carpet, and tiled the bathroom. Now the flange, which is glued to the pvc, is RAISED. The contractor has discarded the platform. Looking back, we should have tiled to the platform... but what can we do now?
