having a minimal budget ..i am a student...i had to bleach part of an oak floor in my place instead of replacing all the damaged boards. Its 3/8 inch white oak...old school stuff...and i saturate a piece of cloth and lay it on the damaged area and keep an eye on it. It seems to be taking the stain out quit nicely. Even the dark stain is disappearing although i think with the more dark stains I will have to do multiple applications. I plan to stain the white oak just enough to cover my putty work and the "bleach effect" from the stain elimination. Floors...what a task!!!!
