Overhead garage door prblem

I have a Overhead garage door open that will not close. The safety sensor are not lighting up like they have no power. I checked for power at the sensor 5.14 volts I do not kown what the spec is. I removed the sensors and attached them with 6 inch of wire right to the opener its self and still no lights. I feel I have a problem with the power coming out of my opener. Is 5.14 volts to low? Can I repair just the power supply? With the sensors disconnected if I hold the wall switch the door will close. Thanks for any help Brian. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
