I'm not familiar with LOPI, but 4 years ago I bought a Quadra Fire wood insert. It was the only source of heat for us (electric back-up). It heated our 1100 sq ft hse easily without a blower. I paid $2000.00 for the insert, door, trim & flue insert and installed it myself. Price sounds in the ballpark.
