Hi there. I can't answer your questions about the necessary PSI, but I recently finished powerwashing my vinel sided house and it worked quite well. I used a combination of techniques including standing on the ground, using the extension attachment while standing on the ground, and standing on a ladder. The last one (which you asked about) is perfectly safe in my opinion, particularly if you have a sturdy ladder and somewhat level ground. It may surprise you with a jolt of water when you first start up if you aren't expecting it, but if you have a little strength you will be fine. Hope that helps. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
