I now face the decision of whether to have a direct connect kit used which was what was included in the 2913.00 price (298.00). He says it's adequate and would be a pipe of about 5 ft up into the chimney. A stainless steel liner running the entire length of the chimney somehow sounds better to me (runs about 1300.00 more).
Please give me some advice. Thanks so much for all your info so far.
