Self-priming paint

Posted by Al on August 21st, 2003 10:52 AM

I'm researching paint for my new wood fence. Sherwin-Williams Duration paint is supposed to self-prime and was curious if anyone has experience with this? Supposed to only need two coats. I'm looking at around 50 gallons of paint per coat, so this may (or may not depending on price) be more cost effective and obviously more time saving. I figure I will hand prime the picket bottoms and some darker knots, and will spray the rest.
