taking up carpet

Taking up the carpet is the easy part. Just get a good sharp carpet kife and cut the carpet into 4 foot squares.

The hard part is getting up all the staples. After 30 years in the wood flooring business I am convinced carpet layers are paid by the staple. (grin)
