I just purchased a home and discoved that I have hardwood floors underneath the linoleum and I would like to restore them. However, I've been looking up information on this and found out that the adhesive used is cutback which contains asbestos. I know that it will take some hard work and commitment to get the adhesive up, but my question is what do I do then since it is to my understanding that you can NOT sand a floor that has cutback residue?
