The west (weather) wall of our house is prone to paint peeling on the interior walls in the lower corners of the windows. The house is circa 1910, and even though the exterior is well sealed, each of the three floors is prone to the same problem. The house is located about forty blocks from the ocean in San Franciso and faces directly into winter storms, seasonal fog, and late afternoon sun.
