This probably sounds very simple to you seasoned do-it-yourselfers, but how do I go about building a wooden gate for my patio from scratch? It seems like just nailing together a series of criss-crossed boards attached to my patio frame with a hinge would do the job, but is there something better any of you can suggest. A step-by-step guide would be the most helpful. Thanks.
