I just had a pond installed in my backyard, patio slab enlarged and slate tile put down. In addition I had a pergola built out of pressure treated lumber. I want to stain it to match the house. The sooner the better because right now it sticks out like a sore thumb. I have been told so many different time frames for staining it. Anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 year. When can we stain the pergola? Is using a stain all I will need to do? Thanks in advance. -J-
