I have a beautiful 10 acre wooded home site in a rural sub-division that is now bordering a 100+ acre motorcross track. I am hopeful that I can still build a home that is sound-proof of the noise coming from just beyond the knoll (from a north-east predominance) separating my tract from the track. HELP! What is possible without out-costing and already depreciated piece of property. I would like to integrate solar energy components as well as retain the views of my property which fortunately are in the opposite direction from the track (west).
