Hi, Sherry. You can try putting an open box or two of baking soda in the cabinet or do the same thing with fabric softener sheets. Sometimes this is enough to knock the smell down.
Search the board for the instructions on putting a spit coat of shellac on the inside of your cabinet if that doesn't work. I know that I posted this for a dresser a couple of weeks ago.
