I am trying to figure out how to cut the stringer risers for my deck steps,I have 52 1/2" from top of deck to the ground, and figured I could cut the angle of the top and bottom to match the slope of the top and the ground. But cant figure out what pitch to cut the notches out for the step treads,I have the stair gauge to screw onto the square, but dont know how deep nor height to set it for cut,is there anyone out there in "I KNOW HOW TO" land that would steer me in the right direction,I am running out of wood, and still no steps....*LOL
