Sump pump - External battery backup

Did anyone respond to your message concerning a battery backup that would not be located in the sump hole?

I have a big enough hole for a battery backup pump but the pump will cost over $1,500 so I am looking for alternatives.

I have heard about a 12 volt, DC convertor with a 10 amp battery charger but have yet to find one that I can add-on.

Let me know what your experiences are and if you found something you are currently using, especially if it is meeting your needs.

If not a battery then something else?
