BeaverFloor Ripoff is Right!!!

I just recieved a note form the NY AG that they had settled their third case with Beaverfloor (beaverhome EarthFloor etc) for ~35% of the value of the outstanding fraud that was committed.

For those who might be curious, below is a copy of one of my last notes to Mr. Martin with a few of his common quotes included. Keep in mind when you read below that my order was placed in October of 2001.


Good morning Neal,

Finally you have responded. I see that the only time that you respond now is when I make strong statements. You have already agreed on three occasions to refund the full amount of my order included the trim.

Your statements are below.

"If you want a refund we will refund you within 30 days. If you want the flooring or the trim we will send you the same". [12Feb 03]

"The check will be dated for March 10, 2003, 25 days from now, a date I can make work, and is on time according to our records". [15 Feb 03]

"When we have been this moronic we need to adjust our rules. It (the check) will go out this week". [04 Mar 03]

I will not accept the material now only the refund that you have promised three times in the past. The delays in this shipment have gone
way beyond an reasonable time frame (you have said that as well on three occasions) and you long ago "broke the contract" of sale by not
providing the materials in a timely manner and by not once in 15 months informing me of any delays.

Send the check so we can put this all to an end.
