countertop tile layout

Posted by dorothy on September 4th, 2003 08:50 AM

I have an L-shaped countertop with the sink in the corner. I am putting down 12X12" tile on the surface.

Any idea what the easiest layout would be?

How do I deal with the corner around the sink?
Do I run the tiles straight as if the sink weren't there or angle them?

Can I use a wood edging? If yes, should it go in first so that I can put the tile up against it for a flush fit?

Any help very much appreciated. Thanks
