my husband and i are buying a old 50's ranch style house.the kitchen in the house is very small but on the side the stove is on is a wall between the kitchen a bedroom. the problem is that the stove is gas we want to take that old gas stove out and the pipe to it and knock out that wall to extend the kitchen and we want to do it ourselves. and then put in a 220 plug in for electric. but leave the rest of the house gas to heat with.
