Removing gas stove.

Stella, this doesn't sound like any problem at all. What does sound like your problem is that you are nervous about dealing with the gas piping. That being the case, You might consider calling your gas company and asking who they suggest to do the job. If they aren't any help, you should have a local Plumbing Council who can make suggestions. If you are still having a problem, go to the nearest plumbing supply store that you can find, not a "Big Box", one size fits all store, and ask them. When you get the gas situation lined up, ask them who might do the electric if you are also concerned about that.
