I recently bought a house that was built in 1956 and the house inspector I hired discovered asbestos insulation in the attic of this house. He told us: "If we leave it alone and do not stir it up, it will cause us no harm." He also recommended that we lay fiber glass insulation over the asbestos insulation. My question is: Do I need to wear any protective clothes or masks to do any work in my attic or when I do lay the fiber glass insulation over the asbestos?
