Bad news for the older Stanley keypads

Based on your descriptions, I believe you are referring to either model 370-2069 or 370-2072 Keyless entry models. These are wired units. The codes for these units are not programable. The 4 digit code for your unit was printed on a label attached to the back of the kepad - under the metal mounting plate. The bad news is that this label was removable, so it may not be there any longer. You might try 8A5C. Just a hunch. A better suggestion is to try to buy a programmable wireless model. I never installed the wired unit I got with my opener because I decided it was a security risk. Pull it off the wall and short the wires and the door will open.
