You've got more than a leak problem, you will probably have a mold problem also. The problem is your builder used "moisture resistant" drywall. This is an oxymoron, like military intelligence.
To properly do the job:
You need to remove all tiles back to good drywall, or basically ALL tiling. Then remove the drywall and install Duroroc or similar. This is a concrete/mesh product, comes in 3x5 ft sheets, costs about $10/sheet. Then retile.
Or do a quick patch and sell the house.
